Met Jerry for lunch today.....

and we went to Dennys. Do any of you go there and if you do, do you like it?

I've never been to a Denny's before - although I've wanted to.

Is it good food?

We dont have Dennys in germany so i cant answer you

I love their breakfast. Get a ton of stuff for cheap!

Depends on the particular restaurant, there are good and bad, as with most franchises.

On the whole, I love Denny's, just not often because I always have to order a cholesterol loaded breakfast meal.

Well, I have been to them in the past, but not often. I didn't think it was bad. I had a BLT and some NE Clam chowder........ We had the choice to go there or TGIFrdays...............

I prefer IHOP. I love the new cinnastacks!!!

Okay all this talk about food...I'm getting kind of hungry! Dennys is very good. I kind of want Applebees tonight

We don't have a Denny's in Canada, but my husband and I got married in Florida with just the other band members attending. After the ceremony we went to Denny's and our wedding photos have Denny placemats in them.

*BLEH* The Dennys here is GROSS! Not only is the place itself nasty and dirty, the food and service leave much to be desired!

I haen't been to Denny's for quite a while!! If we go out for breakfat we'll eat at Perkins!! Going out to eat tonite sounds pretty good though!!

I love Denny's. We don't have any in Canada though. I also love Big Boys resturants (I think they still exist)...I am in love with their spaghetti and hot fudge ice cream cake!

HEHE!! nope, I eat the spaghetti for dinner and the ice cream cake for dessert..but I have been known to eat odd things

I love Dennys. We've just had one open up in Porirua. I've been there three times in the last month. Good service and reasonable price.

Denny's was, and still is, the place to go in my hometown if it's 3 AM and you need some grease to soak up the alcohol floating around in your system! It's on par with Steak and Shake and those sorts of places. Not my first pick but not horrible-- though they can vary from franchise to franchise.

Actually, we do have Denny's in Canada. There are lots of them in BC, so I got curious about how far east they go, and looked at their website. They're all over the place, from Ontario west -- but not Quebec or Atlantic Canada. That said, the ones in BC don't seem to measure up to the ones in the US -- or at least they didn't the last time I tried them, which was some time ago, but it's a style of restaurant I don't tend to patronize that often, anyway.

Yeah there are Dennys on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls too - good when you are looking for food to soak up alcohol at 3am but I wouldn't usually choose it for a meal.
