Just wondering..........Jasper was neutered at 4 1/2 months old. He will be 2 years in April. Tia will be a year in April and was spayed at four months. Lately Jasper has been trying to "ride" her, he gets her by the back of the neck and won't let go until he makes her cry repeatedly or until he sees me coming and threatening to smack him (don't smack just threaten). She isn't doing anything to provoke him that I can see when he starts this. She HATES it and get mad at him. Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior? He doesn't draw blood but as I said she hates it and then is in a bad mood for quite a while afterwards.:p

Sounds like typical dominance displays to me.
My boys do it all the time, to the girls, to each other.

i've even seen Cable try this on Pixel - but because Pixel's larger than Cable, it's usually unsuccessful. Pixel just stands up & leaves!

Its a dominance thing. You can't do much about it. Perhaps a dab of Bitter Apple spray on the back of the neck will deter him from doing it.
