This is Eleanor, she is the first cat I trapped, and she's here waiting for her trip to the vet. I let her out of the trap and had a heckofa time getting her back in. I've never been so scared in my life as appoaching this little cat chasing up the walls, growling and scratching. It's a good thing looks don't kill or I would've been a goner!

Next is Lady Day. Her owner had to go to an assisted living home and she is living with the outside cats now.

Then there's Tiger. Probably Lady Day's cousin, nephew, uncle or something related!

Wow, that's quite the look from Eleanor! :yikes:
Love Lady Day & Tiger's fluffiness. They look like a couple of cuddlies.

Eleanor is something isn't she? After talking to her and feeding her, giving her treats and toys -- the most I get from her is a slow blink at five feet or more away!

This picture was taken a few years ago. Eleanor was waiting for her spay. She had abandoned a litter of four kittens and the vet "encouraged" me to bring her in before she got pregnant again. We managed to save three of the kittens. I only got pictures of one because he was so tiny the vet wouldn't give the ok to let him be adopted.

I wanted to name him Carter after my favorite ex-President, but my daughter thought that was too big a name for such a little guy. She suggested Peanut because Carter was a peanut farmer. It was a perfect fit.

I write about these cats in journal type entries in the Ferals and Strays forum.
