Is this stuff ok? My Vet wasn't in the office, so we had to see another one. He prescribed this for my cat who had swollen eyelids that watered a bit and had slight discharge. She seems to be looking a little better after a few days of this cream in her eyes, and they did make sure she had no scratches on her eyes before prescribing it...

She doesn't have any other symptoms, so I'm not sure what caused this or how to combat it! That is so frustrating, but it isn't the first time. She is supposed to get this on her eyes three times a day for one week. I have an appointment to take her back in 6 days for a re-check. Thanks a bunch!

I'm sure it's ok- it does contain steriods
with the follow up so soon, the vet will know if it's working well for her

She's fine, she just has an infection with some inflammation.

The reason the vet made sure there was no scratch on the cornea is because steroids can cause blindness if they are used on broken corneal tissue. But otherwise topical steroids are very safe.
