Hello from Punkin the Fat

Hi!

I have a WONDERFUL 12 and a half year old Black DSH neutered male named Punkin. I have always referred to him as Punkin the Cat. However since he weighs 24 pounds, my Husband calls him Punkin the Fat.

As he has gotten on in years some things have changed with him health and personality-wise. I am hoping to get some sound advice regarding how to take care of an older cat.

Punkin has been with me through thick and thin, divorce, new love, grief, joy, pain etc. I want to be sure that i give him the best life possible as he gets up there in years.

It's so wonderful that Punkin has been your companion through these years. As our Vet says, 12 isn't so old (our oldest girl is almost 11), our Vet's kitty is 19 years old!
