Sadly I lost my cat "Pops" RIP recenty. He was 16 just a few months' off being 17. He was on treatment for CRF "Chronic Renal Failure". He had this disease for approx 2 and a half years. The Vet said, he was amazed that my cat was doing so well (about 5 months' previouly) and he was the longest treated patient with CRF.

A little tribute:

Pops, darling, I miss you terribly, and hope you are at rest. I done everything possible to keep you alive, but sadly all failed. The house is empty and cant wait to have you home again. You were a little devil when you were a youngster, Do you remember the fight you caused when I first let you out?
You had all the other cats in the neighbourhood upset. But they soon became your friends didn't they?
I pray daily for you. RIP x

RIP Pops...

He must have had a wonderful 17 years with such a loving owner. Take heart that he's no longer ill or in pain...

My heart goes out to you as you deal with your grief over losing Pops. I know exactly how empty your house and your life feel without him.
May your memories comfort you.

Rest in peace, Pops. You're forever young and healthy as you play at the Bridge and watch over your "mom" on earth.

Condolences on your loss of Pops, but you are to be congratulated that he lived a full life, despite CRF - you gave him all the right things, that's for sure. And I did get a chuckle reading his tribute - I'm sure the other kitty angels over RB with him did too!
