Hi everyone......

I've just been this morning to pick out a new kitten. The vet just near me had some dumped there that were up for adoption. I didn't think about it, I should have taken a photo of him. I am having big trouble coming up with a name for him.

I already have Corty and Rascal. He is a 12 week old Ragdoll cross. He is the really light ginger/champagne color with some white on him, semi fluffy, although not long hair.....He is a very quiet, mellow little guy. I know he was born on a farm and was dumped at the vet with his sister, who has been called Fergie (from the black eyed peas band).

Any ideas?

Congratulations on your new kitty!! My all time favorite kitty names are O'Malley and then Toulouse. I have both...LOL
I think if we ever got another male, the names would be between Archamedes, Kovu, and Simba. We name all of our fur babies after Disney characters.

I'm a big fan of little old man names myself. Walter, Seymour, Henry... my mom's got a dog named Solomon.

Ok, I just went and got some pics of him. The photos have made him look a lot brighter ginger than what he is, he's actually a more muted ginger/champagne color. Look at the sad look on his poor little face!

I'm not usually much help in the naming department....but I used to have a kitty when i was little that looked almost identical, his name was Barney.

I'm so glad you have decided to give this darling a forever home...he's gorgeous!

Yeah, I had Leo suggested to me on the beanie babies forum I am a member of.........my best friend said she thinks he looks like a Samuel, Sammy for short! I also thought Aslan could be nice, but there isn't any real way to shorten that down. He'd just be "Aslan" lol

I thought Samual first!!!!!! because he reminds me of a ginger kid I went to school with called Samual. He was so cute.
I still like Nemo though.
We call Sleeves Aslan sometimes.

Just look at your newest little angel. He does look so sad.
It is wonderful that you are giving him a forever home, filled with love.

Can hardly wait to hear what you decide to name him.

Hopefully it wont take long and that look of absolute sorrow (thats the only way to describe it) will be gone. All 3 of my babies have been rescued. I got Corty and Rascal from an animal shelter as kittens and now this little guy from the vet. I dead set refuse to buy from pet shops. It only encourages people who are too lazy to desex their pets (don't mean to offend anyone, just upsets me to see all the kittens and puppies all the time!)

A lot of people here feel the same way.
I have no doubt that soon, your sweet boy will find new joy in life.

You have a loving heart.
