how many cats do you have and who is the king/queen?

I am just curious how many cats does everyone here have? ANd who in your house rules with an iron paw? cat or dog? Or rabbit? Hehe NEXT to you of course!


Those of you with more then 4 cats do you find it more work? lots of hair to pick up? OR do you feed really good food where the cats hardly shed and there is no mess?


I recently visited a cattery she had about 50 cats and I DONT KNOw how on earth she keeps her house clean!

We 4 kitties.

No matter what anybody (including Tara ) says, my baby boy Tyson rules the house.


There is a bit more work making sure the boxes are scooped and they have food and water. It's also double the cats to get to go to bed too, but we love them all.

We only have Harley - but he lets us know all the time that he IS the King of everything!

No No No No....Tyson is definatly not the ruler of the house...Tyson is lazy and doesn't care what goes on...if ANYBODY it's definatly Tinky! He keeps everyone on their toes!

She has a point. Tyson is the cat that will be sleeping on the bed and if he hears a big crash, he picks his head up just enough to make sure nobody is dead and then he goes back to sleep.


Tinky is the instigator and more lively of the two. Luckily, they all take care of each other and get along great.

We have 9 cats total. 3 bobcats, 1 very rambunctious 9 month old cougar and 5 domestics. You would think that at 60 pounds now, the cougar would rule the house, but not true. Aurora is the queen and may very well be the king as well She doesn't care who or what you are and how big you are. When she wants you out of her way, she will let you know with a scream and a smack with those large polydactyl paws of hers

Well 4 cats & myself. Who rules, that's easy Jordan. He is king any God be with anyone, human or other, that dares to challange his stance. (Just ask my friends mom who had her face attacked while holding him. She made eye contact for a little too long and that is a challange he will not stand for.)

I have two cats.

Wowzer is by far the Queen.

We have two. Ophelia is most often Alpha, but every so often there is a battle for alpha. Trent wins the Alpha title about 1 out of 3 times. It's actually pretty funny because he is twice Ophelia's size, and she could still whoop him if she really wanted to. She's a tough little girl!

I have four. Gracie "thinks" she's the queen, which is reflected in how vocal and bossy she can be. However, the real queen is Katie, by virtue of being the oldest and just being around the longest. Like a true queen, she doesn't have to act like royalty, it's just how she is. There are also times when it seems like Peter rules the house. He drives the girls crazy! And, when I feed them their wet food in the morning, he gobbles his down then goes around and eats their's and they just let him. Although Claire's new to the family, she doesn't hesitate to assert herself and has definitely found her place among the other cats.

I have 4, and Usva, the first and the eldest, is the undisputed lady of the house.

I have four and Bobber is the Queen but Prince Bakker shakes things up a bit at times!!

I have two cats and Miagi thinks he is the king.

I have 3 cats, and Gracie keeps everyone in line. Girls rule this household!

We have two cats. Hobbs is King, of course. He even has a throne, pictured below, that nobody but him sits in. Blueberry is the snobby diva Queen. When Hobbs decides to test his "Kingness" with Blueberry, she whups his butt good, which is easy since she is twice the size of my scrawny Hobbs. With our 3 dogs, Nala is the undisuted alpha dog who keeps the other dogs in line

Since arriving last October, Topaz has declared herself Queen - of the Universe! Her scepter - aka her front paw - is always ready to dispense punishment! She even has Mom under her rule.

Right now I have 6 cats. Max and Smokey think that they are in charge. But they make lowsy rulers of the house. They are to laid back. Smokey and Midnight are father and son and get along. Cassey and Spookey are mother and daughter and they get along. Sassy and Max get along with no one.
