Guinness is feeling much better these days! Thanks for everybodies help! For those of you who don't know Guinness had diarrhea for months and I could only get it under control with Flagyl. Then he got a really bad cold and had to be on anti-biotics and because of that had horrible bloody diarrhea. I couldn't get it under control at all. So what I did was starve him for 36 hours and then put him on a potato and duck food by Medi-Cal. Its a hypoallergenic/gastro food. After about a week he started having solid poo! So after a month or so most days his poo is solid with only a couple of gliches. He may have IBD and will have to stay on it for the rest of his life. I'm planning on giving him a little bit of some "normal" food in a month or so and see what happens.

So thanks for all the support!

Yay! I'm glad to hear that Flagyl works. Raphie is on a hypoallergnic diet, but still has some issues with diarrhea, so he's going on flagyl when I can get up to the vet office. I'm so happy for you!
