Nutro food

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between Nutro's two lines of food: Natural Choice and Max Cat?

Max is designed for healthy ( ie no troubles) and finicky cats ...

Natural choice is designed for sensitive cats and those with hairball issues

Max is their budget brand and Natural Choice is their next step up.

So then Natural Choice is better than Max Cat?

I would say for most cats natural choice is better... Max has wheat in all but the hairball formula so many here wont use it ..I have used both on different animals and both did well...

Yeah, I believe Natural Choice is better than MAX cat in my opinion.

My girls eat Nutro Natural Choice dry food and pouches. They love it and I love it! I don't know much about Max, because no one on this site recommended it when I was learning about quality foods!

My cats don't like MAX at all, and I've tried a few different flavors. I feed them Pro Plan in cans and Royal Canin dry food and love that.

I use Natural Choice Indoor for dry, and for wet, it depends on what's on sale at Petsmart. I consider the wet food to be comparable in quality, there's just a lot more flavors in Max. I'll do any of them but fish (except this week I accidentally bought 12 5.5 oz cans of ocean fish!) because I don't think fish is that good for cats, and veal because I don't agree with veal farms. When NC is on sale and about the same price as Max, I buy NC.
