My son Kevin is 13 months old now. His most favourite things in the world (at least his world) are cats and cars. He is always chasing the cats to hug and kiss them (they take all this abuse remarkably well). He has always been fascinated by cars. Other then watching his baby Einstein DVDs he has no interest in TV except for car commercials. If a car commercial is on a bomb could go off and he wouldn't even blink (he is such a boy!). Last night a car commercial came on and he went into his unblinking looking at the car mode. Merlin went up to him and started headbutting him trying to get his attention (which he normally never does). Poor Kevin didn't know what to do - look at the cars or kiss the cat (who was volunteering for attention). He kept trying to touch Merlin without taking his eyes off the TV. Fortunately for him, the commercials are over quickly and both he and Merlin got a little snuggling in before Merlin realized that Kevin is the enemy.
