I've just been sent home from work because my Grandad died a few hours ago. I'm really upset. Don't really know what else to say... I'll miss him. Can you all send me some hugs?

Hugs coming from me to you. I remember when I got the call at work about my grandfather passing away, it is a horrible feeling. I am sure he knew that you loved him and that you know that he will still always love you. He is now your angel!

Thanks guys, I don't even know what happened yet. He was 78 so probably just got to that age...
Can't stop remembering all the good times at the minute though and I wish they'd give me a day or so because it makes me feel worse

I am so sorry to hear that. *hug* I agree that he is your angel now!
I would suggest that you write some of your wonderful memories down. They actually encourage us at the funeral home to do this when my grandfather passed and suggested that we put them (the written memories) in with him on the final day - it help to say goodbye that way.

We did this when my best friend died, they went in the coffin, along with teddies etc it was a nice thought.

You know what apart from the odd person person I've spoken to, this was one of the first places I came. Funny how I knew you would all feel for me.

Thanks everyone, Sleeves knows Im not happy he keeps rubbing on me. I haven't managed to even get in touch with Mark though as he has classes all day so I'm sad about that.
