I can't find 372 either - I assume I will have to order it...

Under the cats, mostly.
I'm not stitching at the moment - I finally finished 6 months of stitching a christmas present for MIL (my own design - cat (are you surprised?)) so I'm taking a break before my next big project. I have to design and stitch a plaque for my lil bro and his fiance for their wedding next year in May. Fun fun fun!!

I got mine at Michaels, but you can also buy it online at www.pcstitch.com.

I have 2 of those boxes..... I found 372 at the JoAnn's Supercenter today, although I am glad that was all I needed. A lot of their selection was sold out. I am really excited to start this new project, but I think I won't get going until the weekend.

I decided to check out JoAnne's Fabrics this weekend to see what they carry. Great selection of fabric and floss! They even carry almost all of the Kreinik metallic AND the Kreinik silks! Better yet - they were having a sale on floss for 16 cents.
I was just mad that I only needed 6 colors. LOL
Hey Heidi, which JoAnne's Fabrics? I have plans to do the MarBek nativity and need to get a bunch of Kreinik, and it's way too expensive to buy online.

I had to buy bunches of floss to do my Smudge project. I swear I must have almost every color. (Except 372)

Oh, and does anyone have a printable color list (floss inventory)? Mine's getting pretty chewed up and I was trying to find something to replace it, but the link I had to the DMC website isn't working...

The JoAnne's I went to was the one by Southwest Plaza on Wadsworth & Cross St. behind Outback Steakhouse. They didn't have ALL of the colors, but they had a lot of them - much more than Michael's.

I know this place would be a bit of a drive from Golden, but they carry EVERYTHING! Or at least they did a few years ago when I was getting all of the supplies for Mirabilia's The Kiss. They even carried the specialty flosses - the silks and overdyed floss, as well as every type of fabric you can imagine - like the dyed linen by the yard.
I was in stitcher's heaven!

Oh, I've been to that JoAnn's. I usually spend a LOT of time there when I do go! Maybe someday I'll get to the South Broadway store. But living and working in the same town make me kind of insulated, and I think even Lakewood is a drive!

I swear - cross stitching is a cat magnet.
Not the stitching itself or even the floss. Just me stitching. As soon as I start stitching, Trent NEEDS to snuggle. And of course, I can't say no.
No wonder my projects take so long!

So, unfortunately I can't post any pics until she receives it because it's supposed to be a surprise.

I'm on vacation without cats right now, so I'm getting LOTS done on my Smudgie cross stitch work. It must have 40 colors, and of course not together, so one stitch here, one stitch there...
