Since we are too cheap to buy real cat furniture, I am forced to make my own. I got creative with boxes. I got three boxes, each on small than the previous one. I stacked them on top of each other & marked where to cut holes so the holes lined up. I then cut the holes in each box. I taped the boxes together(it takes a ton of tape). Then, I added another box to the bottom box. I cut holes through it. So, there is a front bottom entrance & a top exit. Then I set it down in the middle of the kitchen(or where ever this one goes) & let the cats have at it. After a month or two, I throw it away as the cats have ruined it. I figure we have enough boxes laying around that we don't use, I might as well make them fun!
I am in the porcess of making three kitty condos right now: one for upstairs, on for my bedroom downstairs, & one for the fosters/Ophelia in the bathroom.
I didn't think of this until I read the thread on boxes. I will try to post pics as soon as I get the condos done & get the pics in my photobucket.
