I posted a week or so ago about a stray cat I picked up who just happened to be pregnant.

I think the time has come. She is meowing alot like she is in heat. She also wants alot of attention. I did also happen to notice something that seems to be the mucus plug.

I have had two children of my own but this is so much worse. I just don't know what to do for her.

Any suggestions to ease my mind please!!

I'm sure things will go smoothly, most feline births do.

As advised in your other thread, make sure she has several warm nesting boxes to choose from when the time comes. Remain as calm and serene as you can, as the cat will pick up on your anxiety. Remember, the cat will let you know what she needs.

I know how you are feeling. I have been there myself. Things go smothly most of the time but have the vets number handy and call if anything seems wrong. They may just tell you it is fine but better safe than sorry. I think the vet got tired of hearing from me but I always worry about everything..lol. Hope all goes well. It seems like things are under way. Let us know.

Congrats....make sure she remains indoors only and plan to have her spayed when the kittens are 6 to 8 weeks of age.

Oh it is wonderful to hear when things go smoothly! I can't wait to view the pictures and I am very happy to know Momma and babies are here, doing well and that you made it through as well! *grin*
