Alright, so here I am making a Frozen Pizza...late night craving.

And Im reading the directions, and it says In Very bold print..

DO NOT EAT WITHOUT COOKING

Ok, so then I was like...Seriously..who in the heck would eat a raw frozen pizza? Not me. Not anyone..But then I thought...yea, there are some wierd people in the world that maybe really like to eat un-cooked frozen pizza, and they might get sick and they are trying to avoid a lawsuit?

Im just like in awe over this. Maybe it's because I've been really entertained by alot of things the past few days...but this one really threw me for a loop.

I bet some drunk college kid ate one once and got sick.

P.S. your signature made me lol, and I don't often use that term.

Whenever I see a message like, "DO NOT EAT WITHOUT COOKING" I interpret it as

"YOU BETTER COOK THIS BECAUSE THERE'S PROBABLY HARMFUL BACTERIA PRESENT DUE TO OUR LOW PROCESSING STANDARDS AND COOKING WILL REDUCE THE RISK OF YOU GETTING SICK."

lol. Silly. I totally love my sig. It's absolutly perfect.

But yea, That's what I was thinking too, Like some drunk kid ate a frozen pizza, and got sick. But still...I mean come on..

DO they really have to say that? Because I think 99% of the population knows to not eat raw frozen pizza. That's just wierd. I wonder what it tastes like though..Hmmm...

I'm ½ joking ½ serious. Hmmm... maybe I'm ¾ serious.
It really gets me to think that whatever standards they have, perhaps some bad bacteria has slipped through the cracks in during the food processing and handling and that cooking it fully reduces the risk. Maybe it's an irrational fear I have?
Nevertheless, I don't see why anyone would be impatient enough to eat an uncooked pizza... cookie dough maybe.

This really is a funny little warning to place on a frozen pizza!
I'm so often amused by labels containing warnings from companies who feel the need to state the obvious on their products! They seem to me to just be some sort of CYA disclaimer.

Maybe it's got that dough rising stuff in it... you eat it raw and it'll inflate in your belly?? I don't know.

Considering I heard a kids' Superman costume was labeled "Cape does not enable user to fly", I guess a warning to cook your pizza before eating is not all that surprising.

I blame the McDonald's coffee lady lawsuit. Unfortunately these companies have to put "idiot warnings" on things because they have to protect themselves from lawsuits. I think if you're dumb enough put a hot cup of coffee between your legs when you drive, you have only yourself to blame for the repercussions. I feel the same about anyone stupid enough to eat an uncooked pizza!

It is a shame that these companies need to do this to protect themselves!!

In the UK, if you buy a bag of nuts, it holds the warning 'This Product Contains Nuts'

If you had a nut allergy, would you be buying a bag of nuts in the first place?!!!!

Under the cats, mostly.
I love the KP nuts bags - they all have "WARNING: MAY CONTAIN NUTS" printed on them!!

And the Tesco's Tiramisu pudding : "DO NOT TURN PRODUCT UPSIDE DOWN" (note: it's printed on the bottom of the box!)

Movin' on up!
The all-time best one was the warning on a chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain using hands or genitals".

ROFL! Thats extremly funny.

One of my favorites, was when i bought a new hairdrier a couple weeks ago, there was a warning tag that warned me not to drop it into the bathtub or a skin full of water. lol

Many of these used to be in an email that was passed around years ago....

From my funny email file:

In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods

On Sears hairdryer:
"Do not use while sleeping."
(Gee, that's the only time I have to work on my hair.)

On a bag of Fritos:
"You could be winner! No purchase necessary.
Details inside."
(The shoplifter special.)

On a bar of Dial soap:
"Directions: Use like regular soap."
(And that would be how . . .?)

On some Swanson frozen dinners:
"Serving suggestion: Defrost."
(But it's *just* a suggestion.)

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert: = (printed on bottom of box):
"Do not turn upside down."
(Too late!)

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding:
"Product will be hot after heating."
(As night follows the day . . . )

On packaging for a Rowenta iron:
"Do not iron clothes on body."
(But wouldn't this save more time?)

On Boot's Children's Cough Medicine:
"Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication."
(We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we
could just get those 5-year-olds with head-colds off those forklifts.)

On Nytol Sleep Aid:
"Warning: May cause drowsiness."
(One would hope.)

On most brands of Christmas lights:
"For indoor or outdoor use only."

On a Japanese food processor:
"Not to be used for the other use."
(I gotta admit, I'm curious.)

On Sainsbury's peanuts:
"Warning: contains nuts."
(Talk about a newsflash.)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts:
"Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts."
(Step 3: Fly Delta.)

On a child's superman costume:
"Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."
(I don't blame the company. I blame parents for this one.)

On a Swedish chainsaw:
"Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals.
(Was there a spate of this happening somewhere?)
