I'm not sure if a foreclosure works like a auto repossession but on a repo the vehicle is sold with the monies going towards the balance owed. If by some chance it was sold for more than the balance that money was forwarded to the orginal owner. This my be the same for your house. The bank sold it for more that what was owed on it. You should check your credit bureau to see what it says in regards to this matter-if there shows a balance yet on the note.

I left work at 6:30 AM...and two robins flew past me. So Spring is here!

It's going to be almost 75 here today, ditto above!

And yes, the money is MINE....the house sold for 44k more than I owed on it!
