Well if you do it like I did... completely accidentally

Actually it wasn't that hard. I started off at a nationwide searching company doing data entry and at that time I knew *nothing* about title or mortgages. While I was there, I just paid attention to what was going on and taught myself how to do them. From there I got jobs at other title companies... owned my own searching company for a while, and then sold my share off to my business partner... then took a job doing legal compliance for a mortgage banker.... and then got offered this job in FL working from home...so I moved down.

And I started all this in late 2000, so it really didn't take long.

It's actually a lot less complicated than it sounds. Wait until the next refi or purchase boom (it's cyclical, so there will be another). Companies get on their knees and beg to train people at that point.

I can see the Terminal Tower though! To give ya'll an idea of my lovely drive, I have had my car not quite 2 years and I have almost 55,000 miles on it!!! when I drove it off the lot it had 7 miles on it- I guess I'll never be leasing
Well, thats not so bad then........you don't work far from where I live. Maybe 10 minutes tops. Too bad you live an hour away.......

Well, I am an administrative assistant for a parks and recreation department of the city where I live, so the drive is probably the best thing! Also, parks & rec is "fun" so usually people are happy in our presence here, LOL!

I also play in the local symphony, and in a chamber group, and I volunteer with horses for the group my kids ride with.

Well my title is Financial Analyst 1 at a telecommunciations company. Really all in all I'm an accountant. Now if they would just give me more accounting functions instead of reconciling billing system to bank everyday I'd be happy.

Currently look for another job though.

I'm a GIS Specialist, since December 19th. I like it so far, and am actually using my college degree for the first time in the 5 years since graduation. (Boy are my folks happy. LOL)

I work in an imaging department as an MR/CT technologist. I love technology and people, it's a great mix. Okay, maybe not ALL the people, but quite a few.

My Biz is called Landscape Rescue. I would like to working with both residential and commercial clients. My services will include consulting, design, installation, maintenance, exsisting renovation and container plantings of all sorts. I will be doing contract growing of herbs and vegetable also. I love getting my hands dirty and spending other peoples money on plants!!

I work 19-29 hours a week at the post office in mail preparation - basically, culling mail for the machines, or handstamping packages for priority mail or overseas mail. I love working there but I don't think I will stay there forever

I am also a full time student at the christchurch polytechnic institute of technology, majoring in science - I have just discovered that I love chemistry so I will be having another talk with my advisor and asking her what kind of jobs I can do with chemistry. Originally I wanted to do medical laboratory technology, but now I am not so sure.
