I work in the court system- basically my job is to give the judge information about somebody who is being held on bail and reccomend how much bail and any conditions of release, and then supervise them (I perform some of the same functions as a probation officer). My favorite part of the job is taking urine tests- NOT! I also monitor diversionary programs, the largest being the one for 1st offender DUI's.

Biggest advantage to my jobs is they are all out of my home and I can schedule things like Moms Appts and the vet during the day ... One day I will go back to school and get my phd in pharmacology ... I have a year and half in and 6 and half to go ...lol.. I am on the 40-50 yr old plan ( depends when the caretaker job ends...

I am a retired journalist/media consultant who got persuaded to put off retirement to teach English here in Bosnia and the job kind of expanded so that I am now Head of English at the first private university here. But I am determined to leave this summer to go to our furrever home that I am renovating in France. Once there I shall write and maybe do a little teaching. As well as enjoying the cats and ponies!

My official title is General Clerck 4. What I really am is an accounting technician. All the girls in my office have the same title and get paid exactly the same even though we do completely different things. GOtta love government contracting!
My job is ok most days, there are people and parts of it I dislike but mostly its fun.

I am a fed. That is I work for the Canadian Federal government. I adjudicate contentious claims for employment benefits (quits, fired, etc). It is a very interesting job and some of the things that people come up with are hilarious.

My official title is a Staff Associate III, but I'm also known as a technical biller, I work on the AT& T Yellow Pages to make that customers get billed for their directory advertising
I also work in Cleveland! Been there for 6.5 years, only 23.5 till retirement
On the weekends I'm a cook for Eat 'N Park, a family style restaurant, I've been there for almost 9 years, well, I some time off here and there. I like my main job, I sit at a desk all day and tap tap tap on the computer, but I love
the pay, making more than I ever thought, especially since I didn't finish college. I like my weekend job for the people, and gives me an excuse for not cleaning the house on the weekends
I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't work 2 jobs

I work for a title company as a title searcher. Mostly I do title reports for refinances/home equity loans... but sales, foreclosures and probate sneak in there sometimes too
It's kinda great. It's almost like playing private detective going through all these court papers and digging up all sorts of neat facts on people.

Well that, and I get to work from home in my pj's and hello kitty slippers

Oh and I suppose being able to hang out with the dogs/cats/fish/daytime tv is pretty neat too

It's also come in handy a few times when I helped one of my friends find his dad that ran out on him and his mom when he was 2 or 3... and another time when I helped one of my mom's friends dig up a guy she went to college with.

I can see the Terminal Tower though! To give ya'll an idea of my lovely drive, I have had my car not quite 2 years and I have almost 55,000 miles on it!!! when I drove it off the lot it had 7 miles on it- I guess I'll never be leasing
