and I think I love Johnny Cash's music now.

My grandpa is a huuuuuuuuge Cash fan but I never really paid attention to it. We listened to him on Christmas day there so I went home and downloaded some. I think I'll burn a cd this weekend. A lot of his music sounds the same to me, but it's so catchy. I love the songs from the movie.

Makes me want to make music like that, it'd be so fun to perform live!!

Anybody else like Johnny or the movie?

It is so good! I love his music. I remember when he first started making records with American, which is when I first started listening to him. I think the movie is great. Joaquine Phoenix is sooo unbelievably good looking!

I would like to see it..however I'm not sure how long I'll last through it.
My dad use to play the Cash, Willie, Patsy Cline, etc on the family trips. 4+ hours of deep southern twang just isn't my cup of tea...maybe Joaquin Phonix will help me through

No, I didn't see the movie. I did see Johnny Cash at a live concert, and really enjoyed him. So I'm sure I would like the movie.

I have recently entered this sort of blast from the past taste in music, clothing, everything. I have wanted to se Walk the Line mainly to see if it lived up to expectations (it sounds like it did), but also to hear some of Johnny Cash's music. I've heard a couple of his songs, but at the time didn't particularly like them. Maybe with my new taste I'll like it better!

I love that movie! I have always been hige fans of Johnny Cash and the Carter Family. We still have both of our copies of Live at Folsom Prison on vinyl. I never really was much of a fan of Joaquin Phoenix before, but I am going to have to go back and review after he was so good in Walk The Line.
