It is bucketing down with snow here! I got to work at 8.25am and there was nothing, now its 9am and thick!
Can everyone send snow vibes to me so that I might just get sent home from work ?!

It looks beautiful, I have pics on my phone but can't get them onto the works computer, I wish I could show you.

I heard that Scotland and NE were going to get pretty bad snow today! So I don't think vibes are needed!!

Apparently it's coming to the NW later on too - I just hope it's after I pick Tibby up from the vets!!!!

It's -2˚ C here at the moment!!!
I had to scrape the car twice this morning!

Thankfully it wasn't snowing while I was driving, I'd have had to stop the car it makes me panic a bit after my accident! I can't believe how thick its got already!
It looks so pretty though! and you're right it is freezing! My car never freezes up in the city centre but I passed loads of cars, thick with frost on the way up!

It's horrible driving in the snow, isn't it!! My Mum's car got hit once when my sister and I were on our way to school and it does worry me too - you never know how other drivers will take the roads!

I hope the roads are clear for your drive home though! It's so much better looking at the snow from a nice warm lounge!

Oooh Id much prefer hot weather!! I like the snow but it makes me kinda sad and the whole country seems to shut down and not be able to cope so Id prefer the sun to be splitting the tarmac.
Also there is just no way the meanies I work with will send us home

Aaaw that would be so sweet. Reminds me of something... we might aswell share some nice snow stories while we're on the topic!
A few years ago I was in Dublin for the weekend and I met two South African guys. I was only 17 and thought I was in love with one of them...still feel funny when I think about him
... anyway!!!
They were due to be moving on from Dublin and didn't know where to go next, so like you do I said, well if you're ever in Scotland look me up! So they did! 2 weeks after I got back they phoned and said they were coming to stay for the weekend! I was quite shocked because I just didn't expect it. Anyway they came over and 3 weeks later they were still here lol. My Mum adored them and cooked them food everynight and took them sightseeing during the day.
One night I took them out, when we got home we sat around in the kitchen talking and after a while I realised it was snowing heavily but they had their backs to the window so couldn't see.
After a while I told them to close their eyes and I guided them to the back door, when they saw the snow I have never seen anybodies eyes light up like that before! They had never seen real snow before. It was so funny. We played in it til 7am!!! We made the biggest snow man ever and called her Matilda. They were just amazed and I felt great to have been there when they saw it for the first time.

What a lovely story. It must have been a lovely thing to witness, someone seeing snow for the first time ever. It always makes me excited when i see snow as it reminds me of such great times i had when i was a kid and its a good excuse to act like a kid again, lol.
