Well, my latest fish has been here for a little over a week now and he's still doing fine. Hopefully this one will make it.

So now I need to find him a name...

The other fish are named Kibbles and Tiny. And the ones I lost were named Wiggles and PeeWee.

Here are the names I though about so far:
- Freckles
- Inky
- Jelly Bean
- Marbles
- Pickles

any other suggestions are welcome!

Here's a pic of the little guy (or girl?):

Well, I think the people have spoken and the new fish shall be called...

*insert drum roll here*

MR. JELLY BEAN

Ok... it was close between Jelly Bean and Marbles and I could have waited for more votes... but I decided I liked Jelly Bean better anyways.
And I added "Mr." to make it that much more dignified

I've also decided to start feeding the goldfish some homemade food. This first batch I made with spinach, shelled green peas, freeze dried blood worms, earthworm flakes, bread... all mushed together and then mixed in with gelatin. So it looks like really gross green jello and smells like low tide

Well, the fish LOVE it. Only problem is... since it doesn't float they get confused looking for the food.

I think Jelly Bean's cute....but not as cute as just `Bean'.

I used to name all of my fish after characters from Shakespeare. I think I might have told this story before, but I was being smart and named my first two Rosencrantz and Gildenstern. Because fish die on a reasonably regular basis, I knew it was only a matter of time before I would get to say `Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are dead!' Oh dear...

I got to this thread a bit late, but Jelly Bean is the name I would've chosen as well for a fish as cute as that!

What an adorable name! I like the "Mr." you added to it too.
