I'm going to try to ask this question with as much tact as possible, but if my euphemisms are unclear, just ask and I'll try to be more clear. My almost 1 year old kitten, Mouse, was neutered at about 4 or 5 months. Half-way through the surgery, the vet called to tell me that one of his testes had not dropped, and that he was going to have to go in and get it. The surgery went fine, and I took him home, with his little shaved tummy, but I guess even neutered cats can have fun? I got a very soft black blanket for Christmas last year, and he loves it. Unfortunately, he loves it a little too much, especially when I have company over. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? or is this just part of a cat's life? I've never heard of cats doing this...dogs, yeah, but not cats. Should I just keep him away from the blanket? maybe spray it with something that I think smells good but that he wouldn't like? I enjoy having him lay on me while I watch tv, but not when...uh....yeah... So, any advice would be helpful...thanks!

I've had male neutered cats do this and I think it is natural for some cats. I doubt if there is much you can really do to change this behaviour.

It's not uncommon for neutered cats to want to make 'sweet lovin' to something!

My Tibby is just the same - but with my cardigans!
There is very little that you can do, so I would just have a laugh and let him get on with his 'business'!

As mentioned, you could always put his special blanket in another room when guests come, so that you can get on with what you are doing, as can he!

Aristotle does it to my arm in the morning. Interesting way to wake up!
He was also neutered at 4months but his testicles had descended completely.
