Please please. send out all vibes I need them.

Ollie my 14 year old had him sicne I was 6, has been sick all over me last night, was orange, then he fleamed up all water of orange colour and had diahrea at the same time.

I screamed, and clutched him, I didn't realise I was kneeling in all his sick.

it was awful i've never seen a cat sick like it.

Soon as vets opened, I rang up and said it's an emergancy he can't stand. they booked me in an they gave him 2 jabs, and some medicine for diahrea.

they think he has some sort of flu bug, I can't remember the word she used, I was so upset, gas something....

hes lost lots of weight, which I notice in a week, it's dramatic. he weights 3.2kg, and Ollie is BIG CAT. Missy weights around 3.8kg, and shes alot smaller build than him shes tiny!

he's going in for bloods on monday to see if it's kidneys as well.

PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE.

Do you think it could be, dramatic weight loss in a week, sickness,

He's perked up since the jabs, she advised only to feed boiled chicken, which I will be doing tomorrow, theytold me to starve him tonight.

I feel so ill.... I'M SO SCARED.

Ollie was always there all my life, were best friends, always have ebeen, were joined at the hip.

my friend said to me well ''He is old Claire''.... wasn't very helpful just made me more upset.

I felt so upset. he may be 14, but he NEVER shows, it, hes as bad as the kittens sometimes.

I didn't dial the vet fast enough this morning.

Whta can I do forr him right now? i've turned the heating up in here, and hes sleeping on my bed.

I'm so scared, i'm going to cry again....

I know that you are really scared right now Claire.
Ollie needs to feel your confidence. Stay by him and with your eyes closed, visualize wholeness and peace.
Breathe through your fear...
You both will be in my prayers.

first thing is to take a deep breath and know that you got Ollie to the vet as soon as you could. Thats a great thing!
Wait to see what the results of the tests say next week and then go from there. Until then just keep a close eye on him, make sure he is comfortable and follow your vets advise. Cry if you need to, its not a bad thing to cry, but try not to let Ollie see you to stressed or upset as it will rub off on him.

Chin up okay - we are all here for you if you need us. let us know what the results are and come here to 'cry' if you need. Sending lots of (((HEALTHY VIBES))) to Ollie from across the ocean

More {{{prayers and vibes}}}} headed your way!! Ollie, please feel better very, very soon! Claire, you are doing everything possible for Ollie! Be sure to give him lots of soft strokes about the cheeks, lightly on the eyelids, the chin, behind the ears (imitating a mama-kitty washing her kitten's face). If his diarrhea has left him a mess, you can gently swab his hind end with a warm, moist cotton ball and if it seems irritated, add a little vaseline or Vit. E (from a capsule intended for oral use for humans). If you can possibly spare the time, you can curl yourself around him as often as possible, while tending to him. And please make yourself a cup of tea & give yourself plenty of hugs from your TCS families - tell Ollie that his TCS aunties and uncles are praying/rooting/sending vibes....Hugs, Susan

When they do the blood tests, be sure to have them check thyroid levels as well. Weight loss in older kitties is often related to thyroid issues. It can also cause them to stop eating. When Spot stopped eating, he started vomiting bile (which is bright yellow). If it is a thyroid problem, it can be treated with medication.

If you notice him not eating once you offer him the food tomorrow, do call the vets back. They may be able to give you pills to stimulate his appetite. Hopefully you won't need to worry, but be aware of it just in case.

I'm sending good vibes for Ollie.

I hope Ollie's doing better by now. And I really hope you're doing better and can calm down. It's surely upsetting when such a good buddy's sick like that and you don't know what's wrong. But if Ollie sees you all upset, it's just going to upset him, too, and he doesn't need any extra upset.

Keep us up on how he's doing. We all care!!!
