not cat related but dog

I am having to move in with my dad for a few months while he has back surgery and i can not take my dog with him, i am moving out of state to do so. So my question is does anyone know if there is a place in MA that i can take him to for a month or two to watch him that wont break the bank. TIA

I'm not sure if there is anyone out there that could foster him during that time (and not sure if I would trust anyone - to many horror stories of the people moving or not giving the pet back), and I am not sure if a rescue would would take him in and use one of their foster homes (I don't know of any that would - space is usually limited).

Is there a chance your DH could stay behind until a place is found? Why can't the dog stay in the home away from your dad? Is there any way you can stay in a pet friendly hotel (or if the dog is small enough, easy to sneak in) until a place is found?
