I dont normally like seagulls but I witnessed one getting hit by a car today, which did not even slow down or stop and it looked as if its wing was broken.
No one stopped at first and finally one woman stopped and she helped me to wrap the bird in a towel and put it in a box and she took it to the vet for me - I really hope that it can be healed and not put to sleep. I will probably not find out what happened to it but I really hope that the vet will help it in the best way possible. I am just so angry that the driver did not slow down.
People like that make me so mad. Bless this lady for helping me also.

I am about to burst into tears soon!
I certainly did not expect to see that!

Thanks Stephanie! I just saw the lady - the bird is going to be okay!!! Oh thank goodness! The vet said that the wing will be set, then the bird will be taken to a bird/wildlife specialist where they will rehabilitate it and released. I just about burst into tears of relief, but I think thats going to happen now lol. I didn't expect to get news so fast.
I feel much better knowing that there are people out there who do care about animals and will help.

It is so encouraging to see that there are other people who do care about animals.
I'm sending "get dented" vibes to the guy who hit the seagull!

that is wonderful news!!! So glad the birdie will fly again. Thank goodness you and the other lady were their to bring the bird to safety. A sad situation turned into a very happy ending.

I like the "get dented" vibe for the &%$@ who hit that poor bird and didn't bother to stop.
