Hi everybody. Another pretty morning in Michigan. Sun shining like crazy so the cats can sun bath in it but it's only 18 out!

Everybody seems to be healthy at home again so that's good. Sophie is back to her normal self for sure.


How's everybody doing?

Really good. Lee didn't snore last night so I slept like a log. Phenom slept through the night without much paly time waking meowmie and daddy up so that is always a plus.
Glad to hear everyone is better at your house.

Well it's freezing here and some places have been hit by snow again
I'm off to the boyfriends in Scotland on friday and he's got 2" of it already!

Susan, it's not warm, is it?!! We have glorious sun, but I was working outdoors and it was literally freezing!!


I hope the snow isn't too bad when you go up to Scotland!! That would be a pain!
But then again, you could snuggle in front of the fire!


I'm looking forward to my tea tonight as it's Shrove Tuesday - and I remembered to buy batter mix which will speed things up no end!
(kind of lazy, I know!

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Its snowing here today (Dundee) but I don't think it will stick, it's been on and off all day.
I am shattered with a capital S. Got to start my training tonight and not in the right frame of mind...need encouragement

Its supposed to get up to 75 degrees today! and all week its supposed to be beautiful!

I'm doing a half marathon next month. Im really nervous...

Sar I might go to the gym then have a pancake, depends if I manage to complete my target number of miles. If not I will have to be punished, and punishment will mean no pancakes...
I think Mark will make them anyway so I'll have one either way

Us midwesterners could have wear shorts and tank tops right now too. The just would be covered up by sweatpants and sweatshirts!!
The tree service came today to look at the tree we have to have cut down. They should be able to do this in the next two weeks. EEK!!! Its our largest tree and the stump that will be left (in the middle of a perennial garden) will be about 28-32" across!!
Started my dinner early this am as it took alot of prep and simmering. Baked ziti with Pork and Italian sausage ragu!!! Yummy.
Have an appt this afternoon about insurance coverage for my business.
Not much else going on.

That sounds sooooo good. I still haven't tried to cook anything from those threads I made.

The same thing happened to me, well actually I started my diet today, then saw a couple topics on it and realized what day it was


SO I'm post-poning my diet till tomorrow!! Lol and I just saw the other topic...somewhere...so I went into the kitchen and had a cookie I was so happy


And I don't feel too guilty either since tomorrow is the start of Lent, which is just perfect for dieting, and besides tons of people all around the world are pigging out today too so it doesn't matter!!!!
