Twitch loves to look at herself in the mirror. Lily doesn't mind the mirror, as long as there isn't another cat in it.
Lola is so scared I have never show her a mirror. I showed Damita a mirror & she doesn't see anything in it. She just made a detour around it. Poor girl.
Chico, however, thought the mirror was the greatest. He & the cat in the mirror were having a blast. They were swatting at each other & when he brought the cat in the mirror a toy, the cat in the mirror brought him the same toy!
Chico has grown(he now weighs almost 5 lbs.) & grown to be such playful little man.

What do your cats think of mirrors?

We have a full-length mirror in our bedroom, and Jamie discovered as a kitten that he could see more of what is going on in neighbors' yards in the mirror than from the window (French door, actually), so he looks in the mirror all the time. Fwan's Teufel made the same discovery when he was staying here.

Ive had cats in the past that have hissed and fuzzed up at seeing themselves in the mirror. But my 2 now dont even care. It is almost like they know its a mirror!

Well, I've always wanted my cats to see themselves in the mirror & do something cute, but... They've never really had any interest in mirrors, oh well

Neither of my 2 is interested in them.
Sometimes I play a game with Mini & a little beaded mirror I have-she hates this game.
I'll pick her up & say(in a certain voice) "Let's visit the Mini-Mirror & seek wisdom from it's contents" So I stand in front of this mirror, she always has this disgusted look on her face & won't look at herself. I ask "Mini, Mini, on the wall, who is the prettiest little girl of them all?" (or whatever adjective fits at the time) I wait for her to answer with a meow, sometimes she's too preturbed to answer & refuses. If she answers, it's "oh, I knew it was you!"
Silly game! She's probably really saying, "Oh Mom, you're such a dork, are we done yet?"

That is too cute!

My cats get the 'disgusted look' too when I try to get them to look in the mirror.

Sunday and Sashka don't really get it. They will actually actively avoid looking at themselves in a mirror.

Cairo goes nuts - growling and hissing. She does that if she catches sight of herself in a window, too. Its so funny. The first time we realised that's what it was, she was sitting in front of the French doors, growling, hissing and spitting, but not moving. We thought there was a cat out the back that she could see but, no, it was her reflection. Silly girl!

Oooooooooooh, yeah, do I know that look!!
Suzy pays no attention to mirrors. Fawn closes Daddy's side of the bathroom cabinet and then looks at her pretty face, before checking out the water in the sink. Cindy looks skeptically at "that gorgeous kitty with Mum -- see that's Cindy and Mum" "Yeah, Mum, sure!
" and makes it clear we should just keep moving.

Mine don't pay much attention to mirrors. However Noodles loves to watch herself and the reflection of the house in the TV. She seems to mostly watch whatever is going on in the living room when she stands there staring at an angle into the TV. She's my cutie!

When Buddy first saw himself in the mirror, he spazed out, went ballistic, hissing and spitting and growling then he tried to attack his reflection in the mirror, and all we heard was a loud "thud". Then he ran off, and now he doesn't look at himself in the mirror anymore
Strange cat I have...
