what PHOTO EDITING programs can I use for a MAC

I have Iphoto with my Mac but it cannot do diddle squat. I WAS using photoimpact7 with my PC but it is not made for a MAC.

Can anyone tell me a GOOD photo editing program that I can use on a MAC computer?

I want to be able to resize, crop, enhance etc.

I am pretty sure that you can use adobe photoshop. IMO it's the best photo editing software out there.

Yes Adobe photoshop is fine for MACs If you are not an expert get Photoshop Elements - it is not expensive and it has everything the normal person needs for editing, combining, resizing, and generally playing with your photos.

Thanks so very much! I will indeed! I LOVE my new Mac but some of the sites I visit are so TEENY I have trouble seeing them so I may try that Virtual PC BUT I LOVE my .,mac email! I could NOT have a better email if I made it myself!
