Holy cow, does it ever feel like Monday. I'm so tired.

A lot of people are sick here at work and off so we'll be busy today.

How was everybody's weekend? Mine wasn't too bad. Having some weird things happen with the 2 new kitties. First one, Asia, had a very loose tooth on Saturday. It was one of her bottom "fangs" that it was just laying on her lip. I touched it and it was completely loose. Well on Sunday morning I fed them and she was eating just fine again so I looked at her teeth. Oddly enough, that same tooth was standing upright and completely solid. Is it possible for a cat to lose a tooth and have it grown back completely in less than 15 hours? Really weird.

Then our other new kitten, Sophie, was throwing up a little bit last night and she just layed around. I'm not sure what's going on with her. Also, Tara was sick all night and kept getting up, sooooooo, all the girls in the house are sick and us guys are all healthy so far.

Guess we'll have to take care of our little girls!

Have a great Monday!

The opposite at my house. I am a little under the weather not much but I know it is coming, I can feel it in my muscles. Lee was sick and stopped up last night which led to LOUD snoring and no sleep for me.
I am verytired today. It rained all day saturday and was so pretty yesterday. The guys decided they were giong to build Phenom a cat tree. Ha! What a joke! They gave up after they couldn't get the carpet nailed to the wood. I am going to attempt by myself in a different manner. We spent $50 on supplies. I think a thinner carpet is the answer as we were using the leftover stuff from our living room and upstairs (not good because she will eventually learn to tear up the carpet by Lee wouldn't listen
) So I am ging to get some outdoor carpet or something and try it that way.

Asia probably just lost her kitten fangs, the other/new fang was already under there, thats why it was upright
I was freaked out when Murphy lost his teeth. We were playing, and I thought I knocked it out

I'd keep an eye on miss Sophie- how many times did she throw up? Poor kitty, I hope she's ok-- I hope Tara is ok too

Sophie threw up 3 times in about 15 minutes, kind of a slimy liquid substance. She laid down in her bed after that so hopefully she just didn't feel well and it's nothing major.

Ohh....Monday

My weekend was great (maybe too good,
) I went out on Friday night with 2 of my good friends, there was a jazz band at a local pub so we went there and had wine and some other drinks and appetizers (Susan, I thought of you!!)

Saturday we all went to the bars and had a great time - except I ran into my ex boyfriend (of 5 years)
That was bad, but I had about 8 drinks in me, so I had my own good time

Now that its Monday, I'm tired and really wish I could have slept in another hour or so!

Oh boy, is she still laying down? Have you used any new cleaners or chemical around the house? Has she eaten anything or drank anything since then? Make sure she's drinking, and if she's still laying around being lethargic she needs to see the vet
poor kit-kat

I'm at work now so I'm not sure. We actually did clean the whole house yesterday. Everything from carpets to sinks and toilets so maybe she got some fumes?

I'll go home on lunch in a couple of hours to make sure she's ok. I'll update you.

What most likely happened is she licked/cleaned her feet after walking on the freshly cleaned floor or counter and ingested some chemicals
She should be ok, but with her being a kitten, you have to keep an eye on em'. You'll know if she needs to see a vet or not when you look at her at lunch. If she still is'nt acting normal than she needs to go, if she is keeping food and water down and acting ok, then she most likely just had an upset tummy. Sorry if I alarmed you any, its just kittens and puppies can go downhill soo fast when they are ill.
