Kitty boy acting weird and I am scared

My Ben, who is soon to be 3 years old, and was neutered at 8 months, has been waking up and kneading his bed and then trying to mount it. He has been trying to mount my other cats on occaison too.

Today he was humping his bed, then jumped on Panther and now keeps going around the house meowing LOUD! He acts Ok otherwise but is this just hormones or is something wrong with his brain?

Most of the time, when a neutered male exhibits mounting behavior, it is normally to assert his dominance over the other cats in the colony. If this is new behavior, then you may want to have him in to see your vet for a checkup to make sure he is healthy.
