Sleeping in the bathroom

Puppy has decided to start sleeping in the bathroom. I feel kinda bad because he's right next to the litterbox. He's only going in there because he likes to sleep on our bathmat. I have no idea why, it's not even fuzzy. Just a flat bathmat. If I take it out of the bathroom, he'll leave the bathroom, find the mat, and sleep on it wherever I toss it.

Is there any harm in letting him sleep there? I know cats usually don't sleep near the litterbox, but he must think this bathmat is really something.

*smile* Silly Puppy! If it worries you, can you find another bathmat like the one he prefers and put it in your bedroom or in whatever place you would prefer that he sleep?

My Stella sleeps on the fuzzy toilet cover sometimes I almost feel bad shooing her off of it in the middle of the night if I have to go to the washroom! She also sleeps on the bathmats. I think they must like the texture of them.

I often find Harley sleeping in the bathroom - there is a little heater in there that he will sleep next to on colder days. I've also found him sleeping IN the bathtub before too - not sure why! I don't discourage him sleeping there - I figure if he's not getting into any trouble - I won't bother him!

Haha thats funny cuz my cats loved to sit on the toilet and when I bought a fuzzy seat cover they were terrified of it! It is funny. My one cat Bowie also loves to sleep right on top the heater vent in the bathroom!

Yeah, I've been looking for another one and can't find it. It's not a normal bathmat; it's not fuzzy. It's kinda like a burber carpet. It's really good at soaking up water (why do men not towel off IN the shower?) which is why I got it.

I guess he'll just stay there.
