What are the weirdest things about your cat

I'll start...

Wowzer...

**she makes a very loud smacking noise when she grooms herself. You can hear it from another room.

** this might be hard to picture, but also, when she drinks, she puts her right paw into the water, then laps up the water on the right side of that paw. Looks very akward. I'll try to get a pic of that sometime.

Gracie...

**She isn't that weird, but I guess the weirdest thing about her is she's obsessed about me cleaning out the litterbox. If she hears me do it, she'll come running in and have to be right in my way watching every move I make.

Cleo loves to come up on my chest (when I slouch down) and purr and knead my sweater. Then, she lays down and licks my finger. But, here's the weird part, she starts gnawing on my fingernail like she's nursing. It's so cute! She makes this kassshhh kasssshhhhh noise.

Zenon loves for me to crawl around (on the carpet, thank God) after her and follow her. every now and then, she'll stop and look up at me and wait for a kiss on the head. This is now part of my daily exercise, regemine.

The way Chloe sleeps is pretty wierd she has her front paw sort of backwards

Let's see.....

Whenever I play high passages on the flute, Gracie HAS to be in my lap, and loving me up.

Leo likes to be in the kitchen when I cook. Also, whenever I take a bath, he has to physically get in the bath as soon as I get out to closely supervise the water going down the drain.

Gracie and Leo don't like catnip

Raphael has to take the dry food out of the bowl with his paw and he has to put it on the placemat to eat it.

Leo and Raphael both knead blankets into oblivion (Ian calls it "making love to the blankie")

The way Raph will only sleep on ONE specific throw pillow, the green one. If I put an identical, but different colored pillow in the same exact spot, he will not sleep on it.

Harley HAS to sit next to anyone who is using the computer. He has his own special chair that he sits on. He also has to have his paw on your arm while you're typing or sitting at the computer - kinda like he's reminding you that he's there!

Whenever I get outta the shower, he has to go in the tub and watch the water going down the rain, or try to lick up the water thats in there.

hehe Missy sort of does that as well! but if you don't give her enough attention, she will just sit on keyboard so you can't type.

Opie pees in the toilet. I never trained him to do this - he just started doing it on his own. I just wish that he'd train the other two AND learn to poop and flush.

Spaz -She makes a sound like someone is wringing her neck every time a can (of anything) is opened.

Shadow -Hates my feet

Trouble -Gripes at loud noises in his sleep, most notably, my birds.

Vash -Never outgrew kittenish ways, very thin, althetic cat from running around. NEEDS human attention and cuddling at least 3 times a day and will tap me on my shoulder and look hopeful.

Cassi -Will talk and talk and talk and talk....also LOVES mutal grooming sessions, you pet her, she'll lick your skin off.

Ivory -Has to have 5 minutes of cuddle time everytime she wakes up, usually at 4am. She 'barks' out a series of soft mews to get your attention.

Ginger, our 10 month old Ocicat has a wierd 'time-to-eat' behavior. I fix her plate of three different canned meats on the counter while she looks up from the floor, meowing as though she's hungry............'normal', right? This after she's come to me to let me know "it's time to eat".

I warm it up and place her plate on her mat as she watches me do this. I call her by name while doing this. Most cats would rush right over or already be there before the plate hit the mat right?

She either turns away,still meowing or she walks right by the plate, or she just sits there...........looking at me. I walk over to her, pick her up and stand her right in front of the plate and then...............she lowers her head and start's to eat .

This happens 9 times out of 10 feedings and I just don't understand it. Has she no sense of smell??? Even when I add her favorite kibbles(RC Speacial33) to the plate, I still have to go and pick her up and stand her right there and then she start's to eat again.

Sunday

Completely, totally and irretrievably obsessed with feet, and shoes. It is strange and wonderful. Also, couldn't stay out of any empty box if there was a pile of catnip on the floor next to it. CANNOT keep herself off any book you are trying to read. And if there's a book lying around, she'll go to sleep on it.

Cairo

Can imitate birds. About six different types. I have seen this with my own eyes, and so has my Mum - otherwise we would never have believed it! She doesn't ever catch any, she just watches them from the kitchen window and talks to them in their own language!

Princess

HAS to dangle herself over your shoulder, whilst clawing your back and drooling, then lick you all over the neck. It is disgusting, and oh so sweet at the same time!

Mina

Licks herself on the stomach so obsessively there is actually no fur left there. No vet has been able to cure this problem, and she is quite fat so it's very funny watching her. Silly girl.

Sashka doesn't really have any weirdnesses, other than that she has to be as high up as is possible to get, no matter where she is. She can get on top of things I would never have thought possible unless I'd seen her do it myself!

Dark Side loves to play fetch like a dog and he loves to watch tv. He sits on a stool we have in front of the set and puts his one paw on the tv and watches.

Calie talks in her sleep. She also has a thing about clean litter boxes. The second I walk away from cleaning it she goes in and puts a drop of pee in it.

Lucy: She runs away when I try to pick her up, but when I go sit down somewhere, she's on my lap meowing at me.

Sassy: She makes this weird, loud slurping sound when she's grooming herself.

I don't really know of anything strange that Stinky does..

Poodle tends to stare off into nothing, and she has no tail. (Well, a small stub)
Flibbo is odd just in that he isn't exactly the smartest kitty around, and his paws are too big for his body, so his walk is a bit of a waddle-hop sometimes.
Annabelle only has three legs, and her mood is almost constantly changeing. She'll be cuddling one moment, and hissing at your feet as you walk the next.

Oh, no matter how odd my kitties are, I'll love them.

Zakk- licks the window shades in the middle of the night, making a surprisingly loud noise! Also suddenly decides to attack legs for no reason sometimes.

Rocky- sneezes and then cleans up his mess-gross but convenient. (he has chronic herpes) Also enjoys being lintrolled, and actually will demand it!

Cookie- loves to visit, but if approached to quickly he runs like all get out, but will come right back.

Suzie- is shy, but will visit in the same room until you go to get up or look at her- Zoom!

Diesel will stare at a wall and then bounce 6 foot vertically apparantly jumping at nothing. He also LOVES to have his belly rubs - And it doesn't come with strings attached. Every other cat I have known will invite you to do the belly rub, but as soon as you do it will violently rabbit kick your hands. Not Diesel - He just wants to have his belly scratched.

Portia has the LOUDEST purr! Very cute except at 2am. She is also fairly uncoordinated, and ungraceful - Poor kitty, she can't help it! She didn't have a Mommy!

Teufel acts like a dog, you say "whes da ball" and he gets all excited jumps on my bed ready to catch the ball, then i throw it against the wall and he springs up high, ill have to get a video of it one of these days!

Kaylee is very sweet cant think of anything weird about her except for always coming under the blanket and scratching the blanket as if its cat litter when she wants to come under.. Oh and the fact shes ripped up my calendar i guess she doesnt like fishies

Sleeves talks non stop. He shouts you when he wants something. He also agressively licks Marks chin and holds his face still with his claws.
Nismo will scramble, any way she can, to get onto your shoulder, she almost gets panicky about it like 'aaah quick I'll die if I don't get on your shoulder!!' then she sits there while you go about your stuff.
She also loves sleeping under the covers. She's a heat freak and can actually lie on top of radiators with nothing covering them. Also she purrs if you look at her

Pushkin sleeps like this too! I call it his yoga pose. Then I can't resist bugging him and rubbing his little elbow. He's so cute.

Phenom has to be laying on my NECK. If I am laying on the couch she must have her front half on my neck with one paw on each shoulder as if she is giving me a hug. Its cute but it really gets on my nerves sometimes.
