The vet called and said she is doing good and is starting to wake up. I should be able to pick her up in a couple of hours.

Am so glad to hear that.

Great news! Did the vet say anything about her liver?

No he didn't tell us anything about her blood results yet.

She is doing very well. When I brought her home she was trying to run all over the place it took a long time to get her settled down.
And she had a big apetite.
Thanks to everyone for their help! I'd never heard of pyometra before and didn't know how serious her condition was at first.
Thank you all so very much!

She has been a handful lately. All she wants to do is get up and play. And pull on her stitches! I'm having to watch her very closely.
Also the fat in her blood may have been from the brand of food (friskies) she was eating.

Really glad your kitty is ok now and I hope there is no problem with her liver.
Could I ask what Pyometra is?

A Pyomeytra is an infection inside the uterus, and is life threatening.

I just noticed tonight that she had a little bloody vaginal discharge. Should this be happening? It's been a week since she's been spayed.

If you were not told that this could happen, I think that you should call immediately and ask to have your vet call you.
