Do you know of any? Working at a place where you see so many last names, you are sure to come across some strange ones! So far I have seen:

Piddle
A. Smallpoke
Yu Suk Yung (to someone in China)
Two that are really rude that I cannot put here. Lets say one involves male bodily fluids and the other involves the male body part.
Lover

Do you know of any? I would love a laugh! I really feel sorry for those people - can you imagine any of the teasing they would have to endure???

O-H-I-O!
MINE is an embarrassing name and I got teased a lot when I was growing up
....BUT it is also a city in France so I can't get to embarrassed! Now that I'm older I still hate saying it though

Just thought of another one that my friend told me about while she was processing Blue Cross Claims for elderly people. She swears it was this woman's real name. Fanny Passafume

Well, some of our clients have funny last names, (and these are true, believe it or not!)
Drinkwater
Casebeer
Rack
Butz, and his first name IS Harry!
Gurgul
Recently one client got a divorce, and she didn't want to keep his last name or go back to her own. She had a Cerval cat named Kito who died last year, so she legally made up her own last name to honor him: Kitoman....

Okay, I swear
I'm not making this up. I was running a criminal record at work, and we get names that "sound alike" or have similar b-days.

This is the last name that came up: F***ing. Don't remember the first name.

I have also seen the last name Wacker, which just cracks me up.

Another time a girl at work had to check a name on a list via telephone. She saw Richard Bang, but didn't think anything of it until someone answer "Dick Bang's office"

There was a math teacher at my highschool who swore his name was pronounced Kanipple, however it was spelled Knipple.

My grandma's maiden name was Sjstrom (in English, that's Seestrom). She's from Sweden, so it's spelled funny. My dad's physical therapist (for a recent shoulder surgery) is named Knackendoffel. And my mom has a friend whose name is Mr. Teets.

My husband was once the camp counselor for a young lad named Dick Weiner Jr.
That's right, his father, Dick Weiner Senior, passed that gem of a name onto his only son. Now that's love.

Also, my husband once worked with a woman who's last name was Bent. She married, and decided to hyphenate her last name, and she is now Marsha Bent-Dick. They also now have children. The Bent-Dicks. Special.

And, we went to college with a kid who's last name was Rincoon- unusual name, huh? Turns out his grandfather, when he emigrated from Poland, knew only one word in English. The word for his favorite animal- raccoon.
Racoon plus Polish accent plus Ellis Island, and they are now the Rincoon family!

I wish I could think of some of the ones of come across over the years. I was a long distance telephone operator, and I also have worked with the public (banking, medical office) all my life. I've seen some doozies.

Some that come to mind:

My sister had an orthodontist named Dr. Buck!
I once knew of a doctor whose last name was Sugarbaker and he had a secretary named Cinnamon!!

I once sent a Fed Ex to a doctor in Germany whose last name was either Fuchs or Focker (I can't recall now).
I had to go back to the mail room at the hospital to give the clerk a phone # (required for Fed Ex) and was horrified to find that the clerk filled out the Fed Ex label and mis-spelled the last name to one that was obscene! I was laughing so hard I was crying all the way back to my office.

When I was little our family doctor's name was Dr. Spear - and she always gave shots!!!!

Other unusal last names that I've seen

Drinkwater
Blood
Wilterdink
Laycock
