My "trouble" a nine month old kitty was diagnosed with portasystemic shunts and had surgery done on thursday to remove the shunt. She is in Kitty ICU, and is having a hard time. She is having mild sezures and has gone temporarily blind. The doctor said that this can be a side affect of removing the shunt, because her brain is used to having all the toxins in her blood stream. By removing the toxins, she is basically going through a withdrawl process. She did eat a little bit this morning and is responded a little to touch. So please give "trouble" your prayers and thoughts and send her some kitty angels that she needs at this time. Thank You Update- We are sorry to say that "trouble" lost her battle this morning. Her little body just could not handle the trauma. Again I would like to thank you all for your kind words. It helps to know that there are very kind people still left in this hectic world.
