Abby is fascinated by looking out the windows. She can spend all day doing it.

This is what she sees when she looks out of her favorite upstairs window. It's our drab, gray winter backyard.

Her favorite downstairs window is a bit more interesting. She watches the birds at the feeders. I really have to go buy more seed.

What does your cat like to watch?

great pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..here is my contribution to the thread....Hobbs' favorite view is from the computer room where he gets to watch people walking by, and other neighborhood cats running around...he is indoor so he only can go in my fenced yard....but when he sees another cat in front of the house, boy does he start yowling...he wants to fight

We provide "Live Entertainment" for the kitties, The window feeder provides lot's of stalking pracice. We live in the city so the little area we have (an inground swimming pool filled in) is in the process of being tured into an outdoor kitchen. This should provide lots of silltime on the four window perches we have for the audience.

Great thread idea, Karen!
Brilliant pictures, too, everyone!

I'll try to take some pics (or hunt out the ones I have) of my kitties' views!
Generally, they will see Charlie or my other visiting cats!!

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Ok I just remembered to take some pics,

This one is from our bedroom window, unfortunately there is nothing to see as we have a building a few feet away. However there are usually birds on top of the building so Sleeves loves to sit there for hours and watch them

This one is from our living room they love to watch the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre, also there are always seaguls flying around

This one is my favourite, this is the view from the spare room. You can see the water and the seaguls sometimes come and torment the cats by sitting on the ledge outside

Thats from the computer room window.. which happens to be their favorite, as all the squirrels and birds are back there.
Orion, Poptart, and Gordito are looking out it right now.
The dirt is from where the pool was in the summertime.. but the liner ripped and now we have no pool.

Our cats see Main Street...A busy road...and they always are interested in the apartment across the street, because every once and a while, a kitty of interest...maybe a lady love?....comes to her window, and they catch eyes.

Oh Romeo she says. lol

If you look behind Chloe, you can sort of see their view. We live across the street from some condos - and behind that you can see Cowles Mountain. Their view will be changing pretty soon though - we're moving back to Seattle next month, where there are some BIG mountains!

We live 3 stories high with an amazing unobstructed view.
These pictures do not really show the view but you can see how much my kitties love it.

Sadie

Dexter

Their bedroom window...

This is how Dexter and Sadie spend a lot of their time...watching birds 3 stories high.

Good grief...that must have been a huge bird. It's a good thing that elephants don't fly.

This is my view from the front window,

but as it is a large window the cats can't really see from the cill. (just realised you can just see Charlie balancing on the window cill & Princess Jessica by the door)

They prefer to sit/stand on the wall to admire the view, the cats all spend hours on the roof (the villa has a flat roof) and the wall so they can look out to sea.

Tommy prefers to soak up the sun from the window cill
