I have had my kitty for 1 1/2 now. She is just the best thing ever. Very lovable and needy (which I like cause it makes me feel important and she is always up for petting). About a month ago, my boyfriend started "informing" me of his want for a ferret. So we read and looked and read and looked some more. Finally, a pet store owner near us got two ferrets in from a friend of his. Sort of a rescue. Well we ended up with the two critters. They are great. One is Bubba (large male) and the other is Scooter (female). Scooter is definitely more active and mischevious. Bubba just sort of hangs out and watches all the action. Kitty loves other animals. She use to live with a Chihuahua and was absolutely in love with it. So the introductory for all the critters wasn't bad at all. The ferrets take to anything or anyone with out a problem. Kitty knew they weren't puppies but her curiosity kept her from being wary of them. Now she plays with them and they pounce her. Its so cute. The ferrets are a handful though. They make our little trouble-makin kitty look like a saint. But you can't help but love them anyway
