I am horrible!!!! I have already been checking the olympic figure skating results, and seeing if there are any American Idol spoilers (there's not). As a child, if I found any hidden presents, I would look. If they were wrapped, I unwrapped them and then rewrapped. I hate waiting in restaurants, and waiting in traffic.

I used to be like that, but as I've gotten older I've settled down a lot, I think it may something to do with me getting bad things as well as good things, if that makes sense. So now I just wait, no sense in pushing for the bad things too

Definately not! I do pretend to be though, because "that's how adults behave".

Im usually extremely patient 99% of the time but I have my moments. A couple of years ago something occurred that should have ended my life, but it didnt. Since then the skies always look a little more blue, the sounds of my kids voices are even sweeter, and I dont sweat the small stuff anymore; hence I have patience...after all ...whats the rush?

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
It depends on the situation. I can be patient as in I can listen to people and let them talk, but if Im waiting for something, like some mail or a parcel then I am just ridiculous. Or if I decide I want something new, like a coat Ive seen or something then I will go to the ends of the earth to get it rather than just wait to the weekend....

I probably should clarify that I can be patient with people. It's everything else I am horrible about!

I was looking through all of the forums as I am cat food shopping online...at 6 different websites cussing at the computer because it is so slow. If that didn't answer your question, No, I am not a patient person. I don't "do" little kids. Yet I can handle a cat or a dog. Maybe people just annoy me....

I am very patient, but hate having to depend on others to get things done. I seem to have a knack for having to depend on the most undependable people. (Honks impatiently a the tree in her yard becaus it won't get out of the way fast enough)

Most of the time I'm very patient. With the exception of checks being in the mail...I'm not patient with those (we do contract website work, and I HATE waiting on the check once the work is invoiced).

I'm especially patient with presents. I hate, hate hate!!!! knowing what presents I'm going to get before I get them. When I was a kid, my sister and I found the whole stash of our Christmas presents before they were wrapped. That was the worst Christmas ever for me because there was no surprises, no magic.
Never, ever again!

I'm patient about a lot of things, but there are some things/people that I'm completely impatient with.

For the most part, no. It all depends on what I'm involved with. I try with people, I really do, but have to work with idiocy on a daily basis, & can only stand so much of it. Like this guy at work-he has no common sense, but he is supposed to help organize the shop floor. Total moron! I've tried to be patient with him because I know he's a moron, but he just kept coming into my area today, pestering me about this job that is going thru the shop that I'm already sick of being bothered about. I snapped at him & told him to leave me alone, I know what my job is!(as I pointed to the door)
But yet I'll come home & some nights I can sit in front of a peice of paper & make hundreds of tiny marks, some of them just dots, for hours, to make a portrait of someone I don't even know. Go figure.

No if you are a "normal" person

As a "not so normal" person I have loads of patience with the disabled or not quite all there..

I`m pretty patient with people...but not with waiting to find out what`s inside a wrapped gift either, Karen. (Does`nt even matter if it`s for me or someone else...I wanna know what`s in it!)

They announced on the local news at 5:00 who one the skating medals-why watch???
I get impatient when there is something I am anticipating. Like going out to eat and DH drives slower than normal or stupid drivers on the road.
I'll show up early say for a bus trip or shopping/lunch with relatives/friends then get mad when they are late!!
