Oooh wow. I've always thought Sashka was a tiny little thing - she's nearly two and she only weighs 5 pounds. It's really surreal. She is extremely healthy, the vet just says she is a tiny, tiny little girl. I love it - it's like having a permanent kitten without all the mad crazy kitten behaviour!

If your Moo is that small, you should definitely measure her against a ruler or something...how cool would that be??

Wow...so all in the same week there has been a report on a very fat cat and now one on the tiniest cat!

I had a boy once that weighed 4.5 pounds as an adult, but unfortunately he had a genetic defect and passed at 18 months.

Kitters is a quite petite little girl herself, she is 4 and now finally made it to 6 lbs. she was only 5 1/2 for a long long time! But she doesn't have anything wrong with her she's just tiny!

Cute! Sounds like my Pandora. She's tiny and maybe weighs 6lbs. I'll have to stick her on the scale and see how much she weighs. She is the tiniest kitty I've ever seen though.

Spaz is 12 years old and 7 pounds.
My ex-boyfriend had an old girl who weighed 4 pounds soaking wet.

lol, ok I'll work on something, I just though another cat would be better!

Her Dads here and seems better today so I'll try to catch the little bleeders together!

Ok here we go I have pictures of young Moo and her brother Parker as well...

First one is just for amusement really, she looks like shes about to be sucked into the tube lol!




This is young Parker so you know what he looks like, hes my little baby, he screams at the top of his lungs if you leave him in a room asleep and he wakes up alone!




And the one you've all been waiting for, not a great picture but we finally got them next to each other to give you a rough idea of how small she is, I still don't know how much she weighs, but its abut the same as 2 bags of sugar if that helps, maybe its just me and shes not THAT small but remembre, her fur is an inch long as well so she really is quite teeny under it all....




So there you have it... My teeny kitty!

Maybe there is hope then that Nakita will gain some weight.
She will be turning 4 this June and she still weighs 5.2 pounds. I'll be taking her to the vet for her annual checkup soon so maybe I'll be surprised and she might have gained some weight over the last year.

Just curious - you said the vet said she wouldn't grow anymore, but you didn't know how much she weighed. Did the vet weigh her? You can probably get the info from him, then you'd know for sure.
She looks adorable.

Has Nakita been spayed yet? It took Kitters getting spayed to gain that half pound! You always hear how they gain so much weight after that but she only gained that 1/2 lb. She has grown her winter fluffy fur though and looks like she has a little ghetto booty now though to me, just cuz of how little she has always been!

so, how big of a bag of sugar? most i see around here are 5 pounds each... which would make her 10 pounds? she looks about Cable's size, [8 pounds] to me - which would make her a bit smaller, due to the fur difference.

I have a very small cat. She is full grown and so small even the vet told me she was the smallest cat they ever spayed. She weighs only 4lbs and is less than 7 inches in height. Next to my Maine Coon/Norweigan Forest Cat mix who weights 22lbs (all muscle) she looks like a tiny 3 month old kitten! Other cats I have owned in the past had an average weight of 10 to 15 lbs.
