Prayers and vibes Requested

My sweetest boy, Patrick, who is approaching his 19th birthday has been dealing with several health issues the past 3 years. Each one we've stabilized, but this time he's had something happen we probably can not "fix" as he is not a surgical candidate and badly damaged an eye after falling during an attempt to jump up onto my desk

He has until Friday to show that the medical approach is working..if not, the specialist and my vet have advised that it would be time to let him go, as this is a painful condition.

He lay on the towel at the vets, rested his head on my arm, and stretched out one paw to flex his toes onto my arm...his spirit is as it has always been, loving, sweet, and so bonded to me, as I am to him.

I won't be on the forum for a bit, I am just falling apart and have enough responsibilities that I have to find energy for...but please, think good thoughts for him, and send me some strength.

We will do what is best for him, but I hope, maybe one more time, he can pull through, so that at some point, most likely in the near future, he can fall into his final sleep during a nap on my bed, in a patch of sun, with Alix - his great-grand-daughter sleeping near him (she cleans his face and ears, and sleeps near him, they get along very well).
