in memory of nudge




the little hedgehog we found on friday,making his way down the middle of a road,
wobbly on his legs looking for food,he must have just come out of hibernation,he was so small it was a small miracle he survived hibernation,

he was not well so we picked him up, wrapped him in a towel kept him warm and gave him food,he did not eat it,we took him to the vet and he said its likely he ate a slug pellet.he was in pain so the vet helped him to cross to rainbow bridge

he only just survived hibernation............to wake up hungry,and be poisoned by a slug pellet.

Poor little baby! Thank you for ending his misery.

Poor little wild thing! I'm sorry he didn't have a better life!

Thats so sad I love hedgehogs as well

Ohh, I am so very sorry that it had to be that way. He was very cute wasn't he
You did the right thing, there wasn't much else you could have done except let him suffer which is not good. I'm sure he'd thank you if he could, for letting him out of his pain so he could go to the sunny Rainbow Bridge.
