So I got a kitty yesterday and I am isolating him in a spare bedroom until he gets used to my other kitties. Well lets just say he has a loud meow lol. He will meow and meow over and over again until I come into the room and play with him. I mean he'll stop some during the day. Does anyone have any advice on how to stop a kitty from meowing so much during the day? I mean i know you can't control a cat's meow. Just any advice will help, so my mom doesn't get mad lol.

My Willow was just like that when he arrived! He still meows and meows like anything!

Have you thought of making or getting a door gate that he can see through?! It might make things a bit better! I made a frame for my door with chicken wire and Willow was slightly calmer once he could see out and Tibby and Molly could see in!

Good luck with it!
Let us know how it's going!

They will if it's too short, but if you can make one that takes the whole space of the door, it'll be fine!!

If you need any help working out how to make it, give me a shout and I'll see what I can do!

I found it really easy! (I do do a lot of wood work though!)

It's not very expensive at all!!

You'll need to measure the height and width of the door, to make the gate to fit the area. Buy enough 2x1/2" pieces of wood, some chiken wire, two hinges, wire/normal staples and duck tape.

You can see pictures of mine here

Mine was only half height, as I was always around and Willow didn't jump at the time! Molly and Tibby were more interested in just sniffing and watching him!
