6 kitties!

Hello, I am new to this forum and site. I have 6 cats - 5 girls, 1 boy, all neutered of course. My oldest 2 are 12 and the youngest just turned 1. I have had cats all my life but never this many (not counting litters years ago before we had brains enough to neuter). 2 are actually mine and 4 are my Ma's, who is in the hospital for a another month. I felt sorry for them all alone and moved them to my house. The adjustment period went well - anyone else been in this situation?

6 kitties - your house must be quite the wild one! I have 2 that wreak havok when it's play time and they are zooming around, can't even imagine 6. That's so good of you to take in your mom's cats.

We've had at least 4 cats in our house since I was 10 years old. I hate living with out a cat, made me misrable those few months.

I currently live with 7 cats, but 4 of them are fosters and will be leaving next week. Its good that you took those cats into your home while your mother was away.

Thanks! We are enjoying it more than we thought. There is always a kitty ready to be petted or loved. The nights have been cool here and the more furry bodies in bed the better. I haven't been without a cat since I was 6 years old.
