Sister's cat

My older sister's cat passed away today. He was six years old. I feel so bad for her, she has had so many things to deal with lately including a divorce. And now her cat passes away.

He had been acting ill today, so she was going to take him to the emergency vet, but he was gone before she could take him there.

She had been planning to move to a new place and he was going to move with her.

I just feel so bad because we live in different states and she has so few people where she is that she considers to be friends.

I am so sorry for the loss your sister has suffered. I am sorry too for the bad things she is going through right now. It is tough to be dealing with a divorce and the loss of your pet at the same time. I pray that her memories of the sweet kitty will bring her comfort. God bless.

Condolences on your sister's loss. It is so hard to lose a beloved kitty, but especially when you are going through other problems! May she find comfort in her happy memories.

Condolences to your sister on her sad loss! Maybe your sis could join TCS and find some like-minded, good hearted friends (i.e. cat people ). I hope that she is able to reach out & take in a kitty or two, who is/are just as lonely & broken-hearted as she is. Thank you all for your kind words. It has been a difficult time for her. I think once she moves into her new place she is going to adopt another cat from a shelter.
