Neuter=more cuddle time?

After my kitten was neutered the other day, he was a bit groggy for a day, but now 3 days has passed, and he's become SO much more cuddly...

He's just always wanting to be loved, and hugged, and cuddled...it's wonderful! Is this a side-effect?

Chay has been the same way since his neuter - losing the high level of testosterone has made him so wonderfully cuddly! It probably helps that you were there to comfort him when he was still in some pain from the surgery, so he loves you more than ever now! Enjoy!

With all 20-something cats I've had spayed/neutered it's all worked the exact same way...

The girls are still friendly, but only want to be touched when they say so...

The boys become mush ball lap cats...

And they stay that way for the rest of their lives.
