My son and I have known a certain family for at least 15 years. Last Tuesday the husband died in the hospital of heart disease, his heart was functioning at only 20% of it's capicity(sp?). For the last two years he had been in and out of the hospital more and more often, and had a very difficult time breathing. He was only 64 years old and should have had more time left.

We went to the funeral this afternoon, the family seemed to be holding up really well but it was still a very sad funeral. This man was a veteran and he will be buried on Monday with full military honor. Could you please pray for the family at this very sad time.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, LoriD
My grandmother died of a massive heart attack, so I know what it is like to see someone go from perfectly healthy to practically wasting away.... A few weeks before she died, she could walk, but not very far because the heart was working just too hard & she had to stop to get breaths

Oh, Lorie, I'm so sorry.

My dad died of a heart attack, too, though he was 47 and it came without warning. Nothing replaces one's father. I have great sympathy for your friends.
