I swear I have woken up every day this week cranky and with a big dark cloud over my head. I have been trying to snap out of it, but nothing is working. I think it is the mid-winter blahs. I know I have a lot to be thankful for in my life and don't want to be whiny.

What puts you in a better mood?

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
I feel a bit like that too just now because of my job I think.
Being home cheers me up. Coming on here, with a cup of tea and my babies laying around me.
A cuddle also does the trick! And going out with friends.

Hmmm, looking at my George Clooney calendar (sorry, Karen, couldn't resist!)

It's just that time of year. I've been feeling pretty blah the past couple of weeks. Usually spending time with the kitties, or my nieces and nephews cheers me up. Also, going to out to dinner with friends or spoiling myself with a bubble bath and good mystery.

I have several things that cheer me up.

1. With a house FULL of cats there is always a wrestling/chasing match
going on and those are always good for a mood lifter.

2. I love to read and I just let the book take me away. Normally when I
surface again I feel better.

3. I also love to shoe shop. I have a serious shoe hobby!! That always
puts me in a better mood.

Working on my business really cheers me up!
Especially since the weather has been pretty good and I've been able to work outside for most of the time!

I also find that wandering around my garend really cheers me up too - seeing all the bulbs poking out of the soil and anticipating the colour of Spring!

My kitties always cheer me up too!!
I also love Charlie greeting me at the door and walking me part way to the shop!!

At this job and my last one (the last one was the job from hell!) I have kitty pictures up all around my work area. I just know that you can't help but smile when you're looking at a kitten.

When I'm in a bad mood - I go and work out - or go SHOPPING! Retail therapy always works for me
, or going out with some friends always works too - they always know how to make me laugh!

I love shopping, it's a big stress reliever for me..but I cant always do that. Im mostly happy when the man's not home, (he's depressing), and when it's just me and my baby and my cats. That's all I need.

Oh and maybe an energy drink.

I can be as mad as ever
, but the second I see those darling faces of the furkids-- it just melts any negativity away.

torturing my cat.. or wait is he torturing me? In any case, once we get in a good game of hide & seek (& claw mommy to death) there's no way I can be down.

Also, bf has a way of making evreything better just by making a joke or taking my mind off of whatever. He and the cat are in cahoots i think..

My cats, especially Forest, always put me in a better mood. Forest loves to have me get on the floor with him so he can get in his rubs from head to toe. He has so many issues with his CH, it's hard to keep feeling sorry for myself.

Oh yeah... It would HAVE to be a good bite of Chocolate!!!

--And definitely, watching my kitties playing "Tag" up and down the hallway. It would remind you of a Tom and Jerry Cartoon!!!

seeing my daughter smile. Looking at her and seeing that big smile just puts everything into perspective and I realise that things really arent bad at all
