The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
I went out last night and when I came home it was pretty late but the cats were up and about. Anyway I was standing in the bedroom and I saw Sleeves was eating something so I went to pick him up to see what it was and he ran away from me, which meant he knew he shouldn't have whatever it was! So I went after him and he just kept running! Anyway I managed to get him and he had foamy drool coming from his mouth. I totally panicked and he ran away again. Then it was gone, I made him drink water and he's been absolutely fine, no soft stools or sick.
I don't think he needs a trip to the vet because he's been totally normal. I'm just alarmed by the foam? Is this normal? I still don't know what he was eating.

Not sure Lauren, unless it was something that got Sleeves taste buds working extra time, eg: like something bitter or sour?!.

The only time i've seen that was when Rosie managed to lick around where i had applied her frontline and she started drooling but not foaming.

As long as Sleeves seems ok now though, but just keep an eye on him. Their terrible for putting things in their mouths though aren't they!

Maybe Susan? I'm not overly concerned now because he is eating and running aroung like normal. You know it looked like Cuckoo Spit, have you seen that? Just really bubbly dribble. It's actually funny now how he knew he shouldn't have had whatever it was and was running away from me he's sneaky.
I'm going to keep an eye on his poop so see if anything unusual comes out because I'm completely baffled.

It sounds like it has been something thats got his taste buds going that little bit extra then from the sounds of it Lauren. But let us know when he's pooped so we can all do the "happy poop dance"

Who needs kids eh!

What a sneaky little boy, Sleeves it?!!

I'm glad to hear that he's fine though - I wonder what it could have been?!!

Tibby got the cuckoo spit stuff when he managed to lick his deflea stuff, so like Susan, I wonder if he had found something bitter?

Dear Sleeves:

Mommy tells us you are foaming at the mouth. We are jealous. What a rich vein of drama you have tapped into, with little or no harm to yourself, and maximum worry and guilt for your own Mommy.

We have been informed that Mommy finds you so adorable that she plans to name her next cat Trouserlegs, in your honor.

Love and purrs,
the Terror Triplets

Aaah
Thankyou for your letter! Sleeves says he knows he is a naughty boy but also knows he can get away with it because he is so cute and he knows it.

You know what, when we got Nismo people said why don't you call her Trouserleg lol! We thought it was more of a boys name

Sar he is a sneaky little monkey. He always knows when he's doing something he shouldn't be, he's a very clever boy.

No poop yet...unless Mark cleaned any up earlier.

He has now pooped and there is nothing to report

First of all, I'm very happy that Sleeves didn't get himself into some serious trouble and that he seems to be fine.

Secondly, I am completely cracking up that we are discussing the differences in our cats' poop, and at the fact that we can actually tell the difference in the first place!
(Sophie's is bigger than Luna's, too.)

Oh, my husband would have a heyday with this conversation...he already thinks I've lost my mind when it comes to the cats!

Haha! But it's true! You can tell! You just know your cats and you know what their poop usually looks like! I've thought about it today and I actually think when Nismo's poop is the same size as Sleeves' poop I'm still going to be able to tell who's is who's. I am quite sad, I've just come to realise that!
