Looking for suggestions from anyone who has one and uses it for a raw diet. It seems like none of the low end models are rated for bone grinding, and if I have to spend hundreds on a grinder, it will make it very tough for me to justify to my husband that I want to switch the cats to raw!

What features should I look for? Types of blades? Manual or electric? Will even low end models stand up to smaller bones, at least for a year or two?

I've heard the electric grinders just don't handle bones very well. I've also heard that some butchers will grind it for you. Might be worth a try. I'm doing a preprepared raw diet right now. I considered getting a grinder but we really don't have the room. I might look into my local butchers as well and hope they would be willing to work with me.
